i found myself full of questions. i was probably at least a slight nuisance to everyone else around me. but i couldn't help myself!
during the renaissance period there was only one science. meaning you dabbled into mathematics, the arts, philosophy, politics and oh yes lets not forget physics, chem and bio.
as of now i'm in total awe and admiration for the cartesian coordinate system. its so simple and elegant, and yet it explains pretty much the world around us with such clarity. the things we can do with it are infinite.
and up to now we've still only been working in 2d. and straight line 3d vectors.

(don't get any) big ideas
they're not gonna happen.
here we go again. change is so happening. y'know, there was a time when julius and i went to the same kindergarten.
the last supper.
on friday everyone went to school not for lessons but to practise counting 1, 2, 3 while posing for shots. and the campus felt empty and lonely. empty except for a senior employee heading in the direction of the boarding school as julius, mel and i took a landmark evening stroll across the quadrangle and down the ramp.

my .14 classmate of 2 years hans has a nice post up on his site. "now it's my turn to say goodbye. goodbye."
things seem real exciting down under. monash, melbourne, sydney. things ain't that simple though are they.
just found out that scott had won a regatta at woollahara about a month ago. that's in sydney harbour. maybe i should go talk to him.

'15 step' starts off with a drum riff that lays the platform. the vocals. an upbeat 6-string progression announces its arrival. "et cetera, et cetera" and then they really start playing around with the song, glitches, voice distortions, drum loops.
the guitars in 'bodysnatchers' wouldn't sound out of place in battles' 'atlas'.
'jigsaw falling into place' certainly seems to involve a lot of movement. "the beat goes round and round."
other than those the rest of this album sees radiohead at its most mellow. featuring string sections. beautiful? well we'll see. i'll bring it around with me for the next few days and we'll see all right. it's certainly very exciting.

i've lost faith in one of them. the other... i met in pacific coffee cafe today by chance. remember having a serious talk with her last year about the feasibility of retaining a year to pursue beijing. "stairway to heaven" was played in the cafe today. "yes there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run, there's still time to change the road you're on."
teachers teach us. you never know how soon it will be too late.
why isn't lms a success i wonder? it could have really been great for document transfers between teachers and students. yet it's underused.
